What it is

NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme in every living cell. Levels fall with age, by some estimates by half or more between youth and middle age. This product is biofermented NAD+.

What it's studied for

NAD+ powers mitochondrial energy production and fuels sirtuins and PARPs, enzymes involved in DNA repair and cell maintenance. That link is why it sits at the center of longevity research.

Research highlights

  • Central to cellular energy production and DNA repair

  • Controlled human trials of oral precursors (NR, NMN) raised blood NAD+ levels

  • Injected, IV and nasal NAD+ have observational reports but no controlled trials yet

What to expect from the research

Injection and infusion reports describe flushing, nausea, chest tightness and cramping, mostly when given quickly. Evidence level: Human trials (oral precursors).

Handling and storage

Supplied as a lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in a sealed vial. Store unopened vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C, away from light. A certificate of analysis (COA) is available for each batch.

The coenzyme every cell uses for energy and DNA repair, studied for aging, fatigue and brain health.
