What it is

CJC-1295 without DAC is a 29-amino-acid analog of GHRH with four substitutions that protect it from rapid breakdown. Without the DAC add-on it lasts about 30 minutes, closer to the body's own pulses.

What it's studied for

It signals the pituitary to release growth hormone, which in turn raises IGF-1. Because it works through the body's own pituitary signal, researchers often pair it with a ghrelin-pathway peptide such as ipamorelin.
